I better buckle down and write this because you'll be 10 months old before I get another chance to do this! So much has changed this month and it has been so much fun. You girls interact a lot and I love watching you learn about each other. Today in the bath you were cuddling and kept leaning into each others faces. Earlier in the day you were playing around Julie's train stuff while she was playing with her train and it was hilarious because you kept knocking things over and she would get so frustrated. We kept explaililning that you didn't know what she was doing and to you there wasn't a method to what she was doing, instead you saw it as just moving around. However, she loved your godzilla moves when you knocked everything over!
You are moving all over the place and finally figuring out how to climb over things which is really fun to watch as you try to figure out if you can get up and over something. You are also figuring out how to move quickly and when we call out to you you'll stop, turn and look at us and then take off quickly! When we say your name, particularly if we are trying to get your attention you'll turn and look at us and then start clapping before going right back to what you were doing. In addition to clapping you are now waving and also doing some high fives. You love outlets, cords, the dog bowl and everything else that you aren't supposed to be into which is really different because your sister was so easygoing and I don't feel like she got into things the way you do.You do a lot of babbling but aren't really talking yet although I'm sure that is coming soon. Just this week I've noticed you starting to straighten your legs some when you get into crawling position so I'm sure you'll start pulling yourself up and long things soon.
At your 9 month Dr's appointment you were 15lbs 13 oz which is the 8th percentile which is consistent with where you've been all along.
