Things sure are interesting around here! Ever since the storm in June we've been working to get the house and property put back together. Of course we can't agree on things so work is coming along much slower than we would like. A couple of times I've threatened to just call people to get everything done, but your father likes to do it himself. Anyway, that's a whole other story. Yesterday your dad called me at the end of the day and asked if I knew why there was a bulldozer in our yard ... answer, NO. So, there is a bulldozer in our yard and we don't know why or who it belongs to. They pulled it off the end of the drive way and back behind the outbuildings, so it is really sort of suspicious, almost like they're trying to hide it. I left a note on it today asking them to call me and explain who they were and why it was here but never heard from anyone. So, when I got home from work I called the police and had them come out to take a report. The officer who came out didn't quite know what to do. Bulldozers aren't licensed and while they have serial numbers there is no registry of bulldozers. Maybe tomorrow he'll find that it was stolen and someone was hiding it here, or maybe someone brought it here accidently (should have gone to another job site?). Guess we'll see.
Tonight we went to get your flu shot and you were GREAT!! The nurse picked you and you didn't make a sound. A slight look of discomfort on your face, but nothing else. Amazing, really.
