Mommy's favorite sweater

Tonight was Julie's first football game and first night that was cold enough we had to wear hats and gloves! We went to see the Holt JV Football game since a lot of Steve's students play on the JV team. It was fun, although we did leave before the game was over to prevent Julie from getting frostbite.

In the past week her two bottom teeth have pretty much popped through. They aren't in enough that you can see them in her smile, but you can feel them and you can see them when she opens up and you look at her bottom gum. She is also starting to use a sippy cup. Right now she gets apple juice with her dinner in a sippy cup and we'll slowly transition to milk in the sippy. She's adjusting to it pretty well. Ever since she learned how to hold her own bottle she "drives" when she is drinking, twisting her bottle back and forth while she is drinking. Tonight she was doing the same thing with her sippy cup, twisting it back and forth while drinking her apple juice. She also had a grand old time with her food and drink as they got all over her high chair and she played with the mess. This of course gave me a heart attack ... as Steve pointed out though, I'm going to have to learn to deal with messes!
