Home Again

On the 9th we had an uneventul trip home and arrived back in Michigan around midnight. We made it home around 2am on the 10th and discovered that we still didn't have gas at the house, however, with some prodding we were able to have our service restored by that afternoon. We have unpacked and settled back into life at home and are thankful to be here. Last night we went to a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game which was cut short when Julie started puking. That was the first time she has truly vomited and she covered both herself and Gary who was holding her. By the time we arrived home she seemed fine, other than reeking of sour milk. We will probably never know what was wrong, but I'm guessing it was a combination of the heat and being passed around to so many people and so much going on. So far this morning she has been perfectly fine, so I think everything is ok.

While we were in Wyoming Grandma and Grandpa bought Julie a kitty that has quickly become a favorite. When I was young I had some fischer price rabbits that I could not be without and I see my daughter adopting that attitude towards her kitty. In so many ways Julie is just like us, she has mannerisms that our parents say we has as children, such as the grunting lullaby she sings herself before she goes to sleep. Just her little way of proving what a dainty little girl she is!
