Wow! How quickly a week goes by when you're working full time. We've sure had our ups and downs over the past week. When I wrote on the 13th I didn't say anything about our night on the 12th. Julie went to her first baseball game, a Lansing Lugnuts game. It was a great night with Jan, Gary and Jan's coworkers until Julie threw up... all over Grandpa! We stayed a little longer but left early when she got sick again. By the time we were home she was hungry and then she slept through the night. Since then she has thrown up one more time but been just fine. Throughout the last week Julie has become a champ at rolling over, however, she only rolls from her back to her front. Once on her tummy she props herself up on her elbows and looks around until she is done with that. At that point she gets frustrated and nothing can convince her to roll back over. She has also started this really funny look where she sucks her bottom lip in under her top lip. I'm trying to get a picture because I really can't describe this look.

Yesterday she went to the doctor for her 4 month checkup and second round of immunizations. She weighed 13 lbs 1 oz and was just over 24 inches long. This is apparently right on track for a long and lean baby like herself! Her immunizations were no fun but she was once again a champ. While the nurse was giving them she screamed and as soon as I picked her up she was OK and just whimpered a little. Last night she slept from 10pm to 6 am. Today she didn't nap much so I'm wondering if she won't do a full night again tonight. Oh wouldn't that be amazing!

I must admit I have such a hard time with the term immunizations. For so long now I've been taking animals to the vet to get their shots or their vaccines and I keep using those same terms when I talk about taking Julie to the Dr. I've really got to break that!
