I did it!

Tonight as we were headed upstairs for bath time Julie went ahead of us to go to the bathroom and as we came up the stairs she came running down the hall saying "I did it, I did it" to which we said "did what?" since we've known for quite a while that she can go to the bathroom on her own and couldn't figure out what she did. She continued on and explained that she'd turned on the bathroom light all by herself because she'd "gotten bigger" which we were so excited to hear! We've been working on standing on her tip toes to turn on light switches but she has been just a little too short.

We aren't all that surprised to hear that she has grown since over the past week I've switched out almost all of her clothes from 3T to 4T. Also, yesterday at the pumpkin patch she couldn't stay on her feet ... she tripped and fell more times than I can count which we just attributed to the excitement of the day, however, I now wonder if it wasn't partly due to some growth.
