Lily, today you are 8 months old and it also happens to be daddy's and my 8th anniversary! You and Jules spent some time with Joel and Jess tonight while daddy and I went to dinner and when we came to pick you up you were rolling around on the floor and then, next thing we knew you were up on your hands and knees rocking back and forth. You couldn't quite figure out how to move once you got up and started rocking but you are so close and it was so fun to watch you doing something that we haven't seen you do before. I can't believe that before we know it you'll be crawling!
We are also beginning to explore more foods for you since you seem to eat a couple of jars of baby food at a time. We've tried giving you bites of our food and you seem to enjoy most of them, although you weren't really a fan of the banana that dad gave you the other night.
