Happy Half Birthday, Lily!

Today is 6 months from when Lily was born ... as I say all the time, I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. So many changes have occurred in the last 6 months and I know those are nothing compared to what the next 6 months has in store for us. You are starting to sit up a little bit on your own and I am sure that you'll be successfully sitting on your own before too long. You can hold your bottle and guide it to your mouth, you also have no problem putting your toes in your mouth. The other day I found you with Thumper's bone in your mouth so I am working on making sure there is nothing within your reach that I don't want in your mouth, however, you roll well enough now that we also have to look at the surrounding area and make sure you won't find your way to an object that we don't want in your mouth. You are also starting to make all sorts of funny sounds and Julie is convinced that you are saying words. I'm surprised that you don't have any teeth yet but am also ok with it being a little while before we have to deal with that attitude!
