After she did her 5 minutes on the ride we were off to find somewhere that I could feed Lily which ended up being the kids play area so that Julie could play while I fed Lily. In the midst of that I got a text from Nate asking if we were ok because there was some wicked weather which was followed soon by a text from Steve asking if we were ok and then telling me to stay put until the storm which was leaving Grand Ledge has passed over Okemos. Soon the mall announced that there was a tornado warning and all stores were closing. I did everything I could to stay calm while I moved with the girls to a hallway in the mall to wait out the tornado warning that Ingham county was under, all the while thinking how eerily similar this afternoon was to one just under 3 years ago when Julie and I were at the mall while Steve was at home and our home was damaged by a tornado or straight line winds (depends who you talk to what it is classified as but the damage is the same either way.)

Spring storms
This weekend I took you girls to the mall so that Julie could do the "bouncy thing" that we saw a while ago and she has been wanting to do. The weather was touch and go so it was a great day to do something inside. The bouncy thing is a bungy system where you get strapped into a harness and bounce off of a trampoline. I was definitely a little surprised that Julie was so excited about doing this but she didn't hesitate a bit and got right into it, even doing a great job interacting with the people who run it.
