While we were in the shower you were pretending that I was cutting your hair so I played along in the role of Jennifer, the girl who does my hair. After I'd shampooed your hair I was rinsing it and then played with it and pretended to cut it. When I was done cutting it you had me use the shower head to pretend to blow dry your hair which made me laugh since I was just putting more water on your hair. When you deemed it dry enough you turned around and asked me if you could have a sucker now and proceeded to say "Jennifer, thank you for the great hair cut" after which you informed me that you were pretending my name was Jennifer :) I love your imagination!

Deductive reasoning?
Last time Grandma and Grandpa were here they gave you a pack of little sponges that are in capsules and when they get wet they grow. The set contains 24 marine animals and we've let you put a couple in the bath tub with you when you take a bath. We thought they were all gone but tonight you found one on a shelf in the bathroom so we put it in the shower with us to watch it grow. As it was growing I asked you what you thought it was going to be and you said you thought it would be a shoe. In an attempt to get you to use reasoning and logic (at least as I see it) I asked what the other ones had been and you confirmed that they had been animals. In fact, what you said was "they were all animals so I think this one will be a shoe" ... guess I can't argue with that :)
