- Sunday night we went to dinner at Qdoba and while driving back went past Chuck E Cheese and as we went past you said "Is that Chuck E Cheese?" ... your dad and I snapped our heads around so quickly I'm surprised we didn't get whiplash and asked you how you knew Chuck E Cheese. Our response surprised you though and you didn't answer us. Monday morning you were watching cartoons on PBS and your dad said - "ah, now I get Chuck E Cheese" when a logo popped up announcing that the show was sponsored by Chuck E Cheese. Wow ... I can't believe that stuck with you and imprinted like that.
- You have started not sleeping through storms. The other night it was raining and you ended up in our bed which lasted all of about 30 minutes because you kept saying "mommy, is it raining?" "daddy, are you sleeping?" When repeated attempts to quite you didn't work I took you back up to your bed. Tonight it is really windy (30+mph sustained) and we've been up to your room 3 times to console you and convince you that you will be OK and you will sleep in your own bed!
- Potty training seems to still be of little interest to you as you can tell us when you need to go to the potty but are not always following your bodies cue to do so. The other day daddy put underwear on in the morning and you did alright for a little while until you started acting sort of funny. I figured you needed to poop so I asked you if you needed to go to the potty and you said no. However, you kept acting funny and not two minutes later you said "I peed in my pants". Yesterday you went all day in just one diaper because you used the potty all day. I know you are close and I just don't want to rush the process (the sooner the better though!!)

30 months
I don't even want to look and see when the last time I wrote a "monthly" entry was. All I can say is life has gotten away from me and we are so much busier than I ever imagined. I think a lot of that is because it has been summer and we've been going, going, going as much as possible. I've also been quite tired with this pregnancy. I'm now 15 weeks along and I know it is going to be gone before I know it - that's certainly what has happened with you growing up. There has been so much going on and I know I'm not going to be able to talk about it all but I wanted to start with a few of the things that stick out to me.
