Yesterday you received a package from Grandma Sweat with some toys for your baby doll - there is a little seat and a diaper bag full of all the supplies you need to take care of your babies including a brush, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, bar of soap, lotion, fork, bowl, jar of food, potty and diapers ... you are in heaven! We had to have a couple of talks about how the toothbrush is for brushing babies teeth, not your own and also a few talks about why the containers won't open (because they are for pretending). We opened this package after dinner as I was trying to get you into the bathtub - big mistake on my part. Even bigger mistake was putting these toys in your room because we had to come back up 3 times and tell you to get back in bed. You really wanted to take some of the toys to bed with you so we said you could choose one and you chose the bar of soap, however, when your dad went back up the first time (after we heard you running all over your room) you had every single one of the toys in your bed with you. He reminded you that you had chosen to keep the soap in bed and put the others away. I came up a few minutes later when we still heard you running around and removed a couple of other toys from your bed. The best though was the third time when your dad came up and found your xylophone in bed with you. At this point you knew you weren't supposed to have any of this in bed with you and you just held it out for him to put away!

This morning as you got up you went straight for the basket of toys and wanted to take them all to Marcie's. I once again made you compromise with just choosing one and you chose the potty. Last night when you put your baby on the potty she "went" and then you said "good job baby" before putting her diaper back on. Of course, when we were at dinner and you and I went to the bathroom you finished going and then said "mommy's turn" and stood there while I went. When I was done you said "all done?" and then "good job mommy"!

We went to dinner at El Azteco and you LOVED it! Starting with their salsa which is HOT ... you scooped up a chip full of salsa and I started to protest and have you knock some of it off but your dad said just let you, so we did. You took a big bite of salsa and immediately spit it out saying "HOT!", thankfully you had a cup of milk so you were able to kill the taste. We also got cheese dip which is amazing there and you were shoveling it into your mouth as quickly as you could! I'm so excited that you eat all sorts of food, it is fun to watch you try new things and pick apart the taste. I swear we can see you pulling it apart in your head and trying to figure everything out!
