Today is Mother's Day and it has been a great day! You spent the night at Grandma's because daddy and I were going to a wedding last night which meant that I got to sleep in this morning. After I woke up and enjoyed my coffee and newspaper I came to pick you up from Grandma's so that you could nap at home (a 3.5 hour nap - wow!) before we went back to Grandma's for dinner. Grandma took you shopping and you got me a hanging flower basket and a card - all that I wanted! Plus, I got lots of hugs and kisses from you!!
Yesterday you and I went shopping for Grandma - my plan was to get her flowers or some earrings, however, when we were in the car I asked you what you wanted to get her and you said shoes so that is what we got her! Hopefully they fit and she likes them.
I love you baby girl - thanks for making me a mommy and showing me how much fun this adventure is!
