Not long until your 2nd birthday ... wow!!! The other night you and I went to Target to get a prescription filled (your first one this week) and while we were waiting for the 20 minutes it always takes for a prescription to be filled we wandered around and came across the stationary ... looking through we came across a couple of really cute invitations and when given the choice you chose these for your birthday invitations this year. I am aiming for a really simple birthday party - just cake and ice cream with a small group of people followed by dinner at Cancun with grandma and grandpa. I had a lot of fun making these invitations and can't wait to celebrate your birthday!

Oh, the prescriptions that we were getting were for you ... all weekend long you were snotty (runny nose, not your attitude) and on Monday your eyes kept gooing up so your daddy took you to the doctor on Tuesday morning which you were really excited for. When I came home from work on Monday the first thing you said was "doctor" and you kept repeating it all night and we would remind you that you were going to the doctor tomorrow. On Tuesday morning when I went upstairs to get you out of bed you immediately said "doctor" and then were disappointed to learn that you still had to wait a couple of hours before you were actually going to the doctor. You were great during your appointment which apparently took much longer than dad had anticipated and he was told that you didn't really have anything that they could diagnose... however, we were given eye drops to help clear up your eyes and an rx for amoxicilin in case you continued to run a fever. Fast forward to Wednesday night and I was at the pharmacy once again getting your amoxicilin rx filled because you were getting worse instead of better. Today you stayed home again with daddy (oh yeah, this is his winter break and you've been home sick with him every day this week) and during your afternoon nap had an episode of diarrhea that took out your pj's and everything in your bed. God bless your daddy ... he has been wonderful this week!
