Today we did Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Lawatsch since we are leaving on Tuesday for Grandma and Grandpa Sweat's house in Wyoming. When we woke up this morning we did our Christmas at the house which was off to a rocky start because when I brought you downstairs we walked through the living room and past your new Little People Animal Farm. As we went passed you said "what's that?" and I said, "I don't know, let's go find daddy". We headed into the kitchen where you proceeded to stand against the door and throw a tantrum because you wanted to go into the living room and see what was out there. Daddy and I got our coffee and the three of us headed out to the living room and you were so excited by your new toy. For 15-20 minutes we watched you explore your new toy and I was the happiest I can remember being in quite a while. We had a couple of other toys for your, a sit and spin which your daddy dislikes and a Santa Mr Potato Head which you DO NOT like. Daddy played with it and put ears, eyes, etc in the wrong places which really upset you. So, your Mr Potato Head is on a shelf and will come out another time!

After we did presents we went to Grandma's to have breakfast and do presents with them. When we arrived you saw the table and chairs that Grandma got you for her house and were so excited to jump right in and play with them. This lasted a few minutes until you realized there was a SLIDE behind them. Right now I really think your favorite things in the world are slides - you will turn your pink chairs over and make them slides, have me sit and slide down my legs and when we pass a playground you say "slide". Grandpa hadn't known exactly what to get you so we suggested he get you a slide and it looks like it was the right decision! You had so much fun playing with the slide that we had a hard time getting you to eat and open other presents. You also got a set of duplos from Grandma which you really enjoyed (one of them is a kitty and you took it down the slide with you). Grandpa also got you a book about cats which you are in love with! You also really seemed to enjoy giving presents to people, you were our delivery girl all morning and had a great time doing it. All in all it was a great day and it was so much fun watching you discover all of your new toys.
