18 Months!

A year and a half ... what a big girl you are now. That seems to be the predominant theme these days! Today we were at Meijer getting groceries and you waved at everyone we passed and very clearly said "bye" to them in your little sing song voice. Every day you are saying more things clearly. At this point it is still one word at a time but I am ok with that as long as I get to hear your voice. This past month has been a very busy one and you've done well with everything we've thrown at you. You have also perfected the art of the tantrum. The other night after dinner you were upset about something so you walked into the dining room, climbed up on my chair where you proceeded to kneel and place your head in your hands on the table and cry. There was a part of me that was laughing as I watched that because I could see you in 16 years with your head on the table crying. (I wasn't laughing because I think that is funny, rather because I am scared about how things like that are going to play out!)
