Things have changed A LOT around here in the past week as the barn and other outbuildings came down. Our property looks really different now which is exciting but also sort of melancholy. For the first time ever we can see the back of our property and really get an idea how big the property is and what we can do with it. I am excited to see what we do with the property and see you enjoy it as you grow up but I am sad that you won't grow up with the barn on the property. Ever since the storm last year I've known that the barn would be coming down but I don't think it really sank in until I came home yesterday and didn't see the barn as I drove up Mt Hope. I am definitely glad to have the milk shed, trailer, chicken coop and craft shed gone though!

We are heading to Lake Geneva tomorrow after work for a long weekend with the Lawatsch family so I probably won't post again until next week ... by then you'll probably be talking in complete sentences!
