We're in the final days before your Uncle Joel and Aunt Jessica get married. Grandma and Grandpa got here on Saturday night after a couple of delays and unexpectedly stayed with us which meant you woke up on Sunday morning to Grandma getting you out of your crib. You warmed up to them very quickly and enjoyed spending the day with them yesterday and again today. Tomorrow and Wednesday your daddy and I both have to work so you will spend the days with Grandma and Grandpa at Uncle Joel's house. Over the last few days you've started to speak a lot more and we can now clearly hear dog, this, dada and a few other words.

Today you spent a lot of time outside with Grandpa because it was a wonderful summer day. I was really surprised to come home and see that you were walking on the grass barefoot ... that was quite a change from your previous attitude towards grass. Grandpa later told us that at one point today you were outside playing and you were only wearing your diaper when you dove off the bottom stair and into the mulch. All was good until you realized that the mulch was pokey and tried to roll over to get away from it, which only resulted in you covering your other side in mulch too.

I'll try to write more over the next few days as you are so much fun and are learning new things every day, however, I know that we will be busy so I may have to recap later.
