Last night you did not sleep well and you were not yourself this morning. Daddy and I took turns getting up with you last night and the night ended with daddy sleeping on the couch with you to try to get to sleep. He said you were like a little zombie, sitting on his lap staring out into space before eventually falling asleep. When we got up this morning you were just not yourself and I hated to leave you to go to work but I eventually backed away and left you in your daddy's hands. He said that your morning was not as smooth as others but you eventually went down for a nice long nap. Before your nap you were with daddy and were very clingy and very vocal about your discomfort. I have never before heard you scream like you have been today ... you just stand in place and scream at the top of your lungs.
We think you are getting your lower left molar in right now because you have your other three molars and your lower left gum is swollen. The crazy thing is that we didn't know when you were getting your other molars but it is apparently not unusual for your molar teeth to bother you more than others. You were on medicine last week for an ear infection so we will watch you closely to make sure it is your teeth bothering you and not your ears.
Tonight you've been asleep for about three hours and we've heard you crying pretty much every hour on the hour but you've gone back to sleep each time. We'll probably get up a couple of times throughout the night to comfort you, however, I hope for your sake (OK -and ours) that you can sleep through the night.
