You just went to bed after a long weekend! I knew you were ready for bed tonight when I looked down from doing dishes and you were in the process of laying down on a dish towel I had dropped on the floor. I guess you'll sleep anywhere when you are tired enough. I think you are getting some more teeth because today you took a three hour nap in the middle of the day, and you usually don't sleep for more than an hour or an hour and a half. You are happy as can be though when you are awake!

Yesterday we went to small animals day at MSU with Sarah, Sofia and Tony Mittino. It was an absolutely gorgeous spring day and I can't think of a better way to have spent the day. At small animals day we started out at the bird farm seeing some of the day old chicks. You would pet them but weren't a huge fan of them. There were eggs in incubators and we were able to see some chicks hatching and see some others who had only hatched a few hours before. The experience reminded me of my childhood and visiting the farms in Iowa with Grandpa Sweat (your Great Grandpa) where we got to see chicks, calves and other animals. After the birds we went to one of the barns and saw some horses. You were very comfortable petting the horses. One of them was REALLY interested in you and kept poking us with his nose. I couldn't figure out why he was so interested in us until I looked down and saw that he was licking your sippy cup which had apple juice in it. You got him back though because you were petting him and kept putting your hand up his nose. From there we went to the MSU pavilion where they had sheep, cattle and pigs. There were so many people and it was hard for us to get too close to them. All in all though it was a great day and you seemed to have a lot of fun!
