Well happy girl ... this isn't technically your first St Patty's Day, however, last year you were less than 3 weeks old and I have almost NO memory of what was happening in our life at that time. It is funny to look back on that time where I thought I had total control of our lives and realize that I can tell you very few things about what went on in that time period. It is amazing what living with no sleep will do to you.
This year I am hoping to be able to remember every laugh, smile, point and even temper tantrum that you throw. This weekend we went to Great Grandma Lawatsch's house and you played with Grandma while mom, dad, Grandma Lawatsch and Grandpa Lawatsch painted Great Grandma's house. We were able to paint both the family room and kitchen in the day that we were there. I am so glad that we did that and that you were able to spend the time with Great Grandma! We are now looking forward to Florida in just over two weeks!!! As much as you've been changing lately I am really excited to spend time with you there. Every day I think of something that we should have with us in Florida because it is another thing that you love. Things like chairs that are your size (the ones grandma and grandpa sweat got you at our house, the rocker at grandma lawatsch's), balls of any size and someone to play catch with, things that you can push around (boxes, toys) and anything that you can climb on.
You are "walking" now, although your dad and I realized yesterday that we don't really know when that happened and what "walking" is. You've been taking a step here and there for a few weeks, walking along things, however, you are now taking multiple steps at a time. The biggest accomplishment that I've witnessed was the other day when you were squatting and you stood up without holding onto anything and then took a few steps.
