Busy Weekend

Picking out my first pumpkin (oh, and eating grass!)

Another weekend come and gone. This weekend we were plenty busy ... getting pumpkins, tailgating, dinner with Aunt Kris, Grandma and Grandpa, church and then seeing Aunt Jess and Uncle Joel. All that was done with minimal whining on your part. Actually, you were great through it all. Saturday was absolutely gorgeous and we started by going to Country Mill in Potterville to get pumpkins. At the pumpkin patch we walked out the back field where there were still some pumpkins and set about finding a Daddy, Momma and Baby pumpkin. You were pretty happy with yours, eating the stem and a bunch of grass. From there we went to tailgate with Nate, Katie, Ben, Carrie and a few others. Aunt Kris was also out tailgating, but she was at the tennis courts (which I'm sure you know by now is where the students tailgate) and we weren't about to get you started there. I'm ok with taking you tailgating, but I'm not getting you used to tailgating at the tennis courts. As the game started we came home so that you could nap and then headed to Grandma's for dinner.

Sunday you and I went to church and then went to the mall to do some shopping. After that we went over to see Aunt Jess and Uncle Joel in their new house. Just like us they bought a place that needs to be fixed up and they have a lot of work ahead of them. They've already gotten started and made a big difference. It will look nice when they are done.
