6 Months Old

Baby girl ... you are now 6 months old and so much has changed in that time. You are so your own person now, it cracks us up all the time. In this past month you have started eating food - some rice cereal, oatmeal and barley cereal as well as vegetables like squash, carrots and sweet potatoes. We introduced green beans and peas which didn't go over quite as well as the other vegetables but we are getting there. This week daddy started you on some peaches and applesauce mixed into your cereal. Wow! We still can't get the food into you fast enough and you never seem to be full. Today you started with a 6 ounce bottle, had a few more 6 ounce bottles, 3 jars of food and some cereal. By the end of the day I was full but you were looking for more!

You love your voice and are discovering that it works at all sorts of levels, including REALLY LOUD. Yesterday Marcie apparently said to daddy that she hadn't really heard you yell before but when you did there was no mistaking what you wanted. You really can pierce eardrums with your shrieks. It is so funny how you will go from shrieking in wanting something to giggling to squealing in delight ... your emotions change so quickly.

Hopefully over the weekend I'll be able to update some pictures. I was gone all week, my first time away from you and will have to get stories from daddy of what you did this week.

Happy 6 month birthday!!
