Such a little lady

Last night after I posted I was looking through my pictures and we realized that Julie was flipping the camera off in a picture just like the one I posted. Being the extremely mature parents that we are (we NEVER laugh at her farts or congratulate her on her burps) I had to post the picture of my little princess flipping the world off. I can almost hear her now ... Oh yeah, laugh at this momma!

Tonight I put just the tiniest bit of rice cereal in with some breastmilk and fed it to Julie with a spoon. She did pretty well considering this was her first time with anything but a bottle. I used so little cereal that it didn't really thicken the breastmilk up, but I wanted to start small to see how she did. I'm hoping that we can start to move into some thicker cereal which will fill her up a little more and hopefully help her sleep more at night.

I just put Julie down for the night and get this, it was in her OWN crib. Steve is currently at Jan's trying to pack up our stuff. I'm not sure how many loads this will take us. We sure had gotten comfortable over there. As I look around our house, which is filthy, I don't even see the mess and clutter because I am so happy to be home!

Oh, here is a picture from our bbq at Mittino's the night before the storm. Julie is wearing an outfit that Steve's work gave her. She even has little sandals to match but I can't get them to stay on to save my life. I think this outfit is adorable, especially the little hat!
