We just heard from Grandma and Grandpa Sweat (and Great Grandma and Grandpa Sweat) that they are on their way from Detroit. Not too much longer and they'll see their Julie!
Today was our first round of immunizations ... what a day. My poor baby was SO MAD at the doctors office. I have never seen her face that red or heard her cry like that. The nurse said that she actually did a great job and didn't react anywhere near as bad as some babies do. That doesn't really make me feel any better. My baby was still hurting and I couldn't do anything about it until after the 3rd shot. When I picked Julie up after the last one she calmed down rather quickly and was asleep within minutes. She is up again and really fussy, so I assume she still isn't feeling better. She is currently on the couch next to me and just spit out her nuk (pacifier) so that she could suck on her hand instead. That is her new thing.
At the doctors office (before the horrible pokes) they weighed and measured her. She is currently 9 lbs 10 ounces which puts her in the 25th percentile for her weight. She was 22 and 3/4 inches which is in the 75th percentile. She also rolled over when the nurse had her on her tummy. We've known for a while that she was close to rolling over but she hadn't actually done it yet. Not long and I'm sure she'll be rolling over from her back too.
