We've always said that Lily will probably be the first to get stitches and this morning she came pretty close to it! Those lovely injuries are the result of a header off the couch into the bin that we keep blankets in, all of which happened because I was leaving the living room and she didn't want me to go. She is battling a cold and REALLY clingy so as I headed into the bedroom to get a load of laundry she climbed up on the side of the couch, I turned to grab her and tell her that wasn't a good idea and watched as she fell face first off the couch and into a bin full of blankets, however, of course she managed to bang her forehead, nose and eye on the edge of the container. The gash next to her eye has been bleeding but stopped before we decided to take her in. Guess we'll be spending the rest of the day cuddling.
