Exploring

Today it was a girls day while Steve was golfing and we decided to go explore a new park (well, new to us). We went to Delta Mills Park which was great because there are a few playground areas to choose from and they are pretty spread out with plenty of room to run around and explore. As we pulled in Lily said "slide, see" and pointed at one of the slides ... she loves the play ground, just like her sister. We spent quite a while playing on the different structures and when it was time to go I could tell that one or both of them was not going to be happy so we decided to "explore" on our way back to the car. Lily still wasn't having it but Julie stepped into true big sister mode and found a way to bribe Lily into going for a walk with her. She accomplished this by picking up Lily's cup and giving it to me, then saying "watch, she'll come now" before approaching Lily and saying "Lily, mom has your cup ... come with  me to get it". Once she'd retrieved her cup they took off walking and we spent some time exploring the water and looking at the fish before heading back to the car.
