Sorry that I haven't followed up my last post with my promised tales of the holidays. When I wrote that I didn't take into account that I was going to be home for 3 days, in Chicago for 2 days, home for 5 days, in Detroit for 2 days and then back to Detroit the next day! It has been a crazy few weeks, but some great things have happened! While I was in Chicago for a work event celebrating my coworker Jen and I winning an HR Exceptional Achievement Award I was also given a promotion to Level 3 Talent Acquisition Manager ... this promotion is a recognition for accomplishments more than a change in my job. Comes with some great things, including a nicer car so we are now rocking a Town & Country! That's right ... I'm driving a mini van and I'm absolutely amazed at how much I love it!!! Julie is also loving it because it has the entertainment system in it and she can now watch movies while we drive.

We recently ordered Julie's booster seats and are preparing for the switch over of her to a booster seat and Lily into the convertible car seat. It is so hard to believe that they are both old enough for this!

I promise that I will write sooner ... however, I currently have 3 baskets of laundry to fold and need to get to bed at a decent time since Lily hasn't been sleeping through the night. She has her 3rd sinus infection in 2 months and the last couple of days have been awful. Today we went to 98.6 Emergicenter and they gave her a new antibiotic ... trying something other than amoxycylyn since that hasn't cleared it up. I just want her to feel better!
