7 Months Old

These are my favorite pictures of you from this last week. You have been so full of energy it is just amazing. Often when we are holding you your legs will be pumping and you manage to rock your entire body. When we put you in your jumper you go nonstop ... which is why you fell asleep in it the other day. You also fell asleep today while eating, it seems that you do everything full tilt so you end up crashing in the midst of things. You are also at the stage where EVERYTHING goes into your mouth, whether it is your tutu (made by yours truly), my keys, your sisters hair or the cats tail it is all fair game. You are rolling all over the place and can get around quite quickly that way. I am almost scared of what it is going to be like when you start crawling!

You and Julie are sharing a room now which is going really well and this weekend I was able to spend some time putting up your pictures in your room and also organizing the play room. It still needs some work but we are close and it is already a really nice room to have. Jules spent quite a bit of time up there this weekend and this evening I put you in there with her while I was getting your bath water ready and I came back in to find the two of you playing with a stacking toy. It made my day to see the two of you playing together. I know that you will have many magical moments in that room as you grow up (and yes, I am sure, a few fights).

Your daddy and I were talking tonight about how it is so amazing how different you and Julie are ... she was always such an easy going baby that when she fussed you knew something was wrong. You, however, are quite different than that and unfortunately you fuss a lot and we don't really always think something is wrong. We often call you the grumpiest baby alive and I hate to say it but sometimes your grumping just seems normal :( You do have a lot of really happy moments and are a ton of fun, I just had to document that you are so much grumpier than your sister was.You also look much different than she did, while at the same time looking just like she did. The biggest difference is your lighter hair and cleft chin which lead you to look just like your Uncle Joel.
