It's the last weekend before I go back to work and I'm definitely having mixed feelings. I am really excited to go back and know that I personally need to go, however, I also know that this is the last time I will have extended time home with the two of you and I can't believe how quickly it has gone. Thankfully I get to phase back during May which is working reduced hours and I still have a few weeks of vacation time left before August so I will be taking some long weekends to spend extra days with you guys. We also have a trip to California booked for the first week of July which will be a great time. We will be going to my cousin Elizabeth's wedding reception and also spending some time with family. It's funny how life repeats itself because we went to California when Julie was 6 months old for Bri's wedding and now we get to do it all over again with Lily being 6 months old.
On Friday we had a girls day and went to the museum. It wasn't a planned trip but in the morning Julie wanted to go to the museum with bubbles so I figured why not and we ended up having a great time. Impressions 5 has so much stuff for kids to do and she loves being able to be hands on and play with things. Lily slept through the whole outing so I was able to concentrate on having fun with Julie which was great. As we were leaving we took a short walk on the river in downtown Lansing and Julie loved standing on the bench so she could see into the river.
Lily fell asleep with her nuk half way in her mouth and it stayed like that for quite a while

The best part of Impressions 5 ... the bubbles!
