Shadows

This is one of those stories that I have to document right away because I will totally forget. Today you spent A LOT of time looking at shadows. Grandma pointed your shadow out a couple of weeks ago and you paid minimal attention - well, you're paying attention now. While we were in the office this afternoon you were dancing with your shadow on the wall and seemed really entertained by the way your shadow moved when you did. You also seem really intrigued whenever there are multiple shadows - when I was holding you both of our shadows were on the wall and you were trying to figure out why it looked different.

You are still playing with your "slide" and today decided to share your slide with your baby and stuffed doggy. This was all good until baby went down headfirst. You actually said "ouch" before your daddy or I did so I guess you realized that babies aren't supposed to go headfirst.

You've started asking to "dolor" when you want to color. We keep your markers up on a shelf in the office and you go in, get your pad of paper and stand in front of the shelf and ask to "dolor". I feel like you've been doing this for a little while but your dad was shocked when you did it this morning and said he hadn't seen you do that before.
