I can't remember if I've written about you using napkins so I wanted to tell that story tonight in case I've left it off. A month or two ago your daddy started giving you a napkin with your meal and you quickly moved from having it on the table next to you to wiping your hands and mouth (well really, your tongue) and then setting your napkin on your lap to prove that you are just like mommy and daddy. Recently uncle Ben saw you using your napkin and commented to your dad that he can't believe you use a napkin because he knows adults who don't know how to use their napkins. Now you are much better about actually wiping your face and not just licking your napkin!
Today was your 18 month appointment (a month late) with Dr T and things went really well. You are currently 32 1/4 inches tall which is the 54th percentile and over 2 inches taller than you were at your last checkup. You weighed a whopping 21 lbs 13 oz which is the 10th percentile. Your weight makes me laugh a little because I know of people whose 10 month olds are 21 lbs. However, I'll take it because you are happy, healthy and growing normally. In addition, you're a lot easier to carry around at 21 lbs! You had three shots today (flu, hib and hep a) and did really well with your shots and everything else at the appointment today.
