11 Months

Well, you turned 11 months old two days ago but I have been unable to write since then! On the 28th you, daddy and I went to Birch Run after work to pick up a bookcase and that took all night. Last night I had planned on writing but you were sick. This is the first time you've really been sick and it sure took a toll on your daddy and I. When daddy picked you up yesterday Marcie said that you had slept a lot, been crabby and not really eaten. After getting you home daddy saw the same things and took your temp, turns out it was 103.5 ... he called the doctor who said to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol. We did that last night and got you to drink a little bit of water. However, you didn't sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time so we were both up with you throughout the night. This morning we gave you a bottle which you drank and then promptly projectile vomited across the bed. I've also tried to give you so me blueberries, which you fed to Thumper. We know you aren't feeling well when you won't eat blueberries! Today daddy is taking a half day and taking you to the doctor. I'm sure you're fine but we aren't enjoying this first brush with illness. It is so hard to not be able to do anything for you and watch you be uncomfortable. We've got to get going so I'll write more this weekend (I promise!) about everything that you are doing now that you are 11 months old.
