What a month it has been! In just a few days we will celebrate a New Year and in a few more weeks we will celebrate your first birthday. I can't believe it has already been 10 months. This month we've discovered that you LOVE blueberries. You eat them as fast as we can get them on your plate. At this point you don't really eat any baby food, instead we just cut what we are having into little Julie bites. You've tried all sorts of things this month and haven't really found anything you don't like. It is quite humorous to watch you eat though because you will pick through your plate and eat specific things (for instance, finding all the peas among all the food on your tray). You also really enjoyed the stuffing at Great Grandma's on Christmas. So far this week you've been ravenous and had a little bit of a cold, signs that you are probably cutting teeth. Today was your first day back at Marcie's after staying home with us last week and you had a great day. She was so excited to see you this morning, asking immediately "what are we doing now". We are so fortunate to have found someone who loves you the way she does.
This month you've continued to love bath time and you now go into the bathroom and stand up on the side of the tub as if saying "come on ..."

Over the weekend you had portraits taken in your baptism dress. Unlike last time I just ordered one pose, however, I think it is adorable. I hope you enjoy these pictures when you are growing up as much as I enjoyed the ones taken of me as a baby. I am trying to do little things for you that I think you will enjoy as you are older (such as this blog) and hope that someday you will read this or look at portraits taken of you and smile, knowing how excited I am by you every day and how much I love you!
